Master of Professional Studies (MPS) Program

Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) offers Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree programs that span a broad range of disciplines in agriculture and life sciences, all with the goal of tackling the greatest modern challenges in these fields. The MPS is a specialized, one-year, course-based program.

MPS students can pursue their desired field of study by selecting from one of the focus areas offered in CALS: Animal Science, Biological and Environmental Engineering), Global Development, Integrative Plant Science, Landscape Architecture, and Natural Resources.

Animal Science:

This animal science program applies animal biology principles to address local and global issues facing animal industries today, in areas such as animal nutrition, animal genetics and genomics, animal health and dairy business management. The MPS program emphasizes new techniques and information to benefit animals, agriculture and human health.

Natural Resources:
